about

Steve Cartwright is a singer/songwriter and poet and has been writing songs for over 40 years. He writes in a variety of styles but for this album he has centred on a number of famous Leicester and Leicestershire legends. Steve has produced twenty-five other albums to date, ten poetry books and plays regularly on the Leicester scene and further afield.

Dave Taylor is also a local singer/songwriter who's been writing songs for about the same time as Steve. He has recorded six solo albums and two with his wife Julia under the name 'On the Fence'. He also teaches local history with the WEA.

Andrew Scattergood (Skatz) is another very talented singer/songwriter and has co-written a couple of tracks on this album.
